Emily Feinstein is Executive Vice President at Partnership to End Addiction, where she oversees programs spanning research, clinical training, digital innovation, advocacy, and direct services. She also helps shape the organization’s voice through public education efforts, media engagement, and policy leadership. Emily is passionate about transforming the health care system so that people with addiction receive effective, compassionate treatment—and she brings that vision to life by connecting science, policy, and practice in service of lasting change.   Emily brings nearly three decades of experience at the intersection of public health, law, and nonprofit strategy. Earlier in her career, she practiced health law at Ropes & Gray LLP, where she advised hospitals, health plans, and academic medical centers on privacy, ethics, and clinical research. Her foundation in bioethics—developed through work with the National Bioethics Advisory Commission and the University of Pennsylvania—has shaped her lifelong focus on systems of care that honor both science and human dignity.   A respected voice on addiction and behavioral health, Emily has been featured in The New York Times, Dateline, The Today Show, and Bloomberg Law. She was a 2025 South by Southwest speaker on the role of artificial intelligence in mental health and has contributed to influential publications on youth substance use and opioid policy. She holds a J.D. from NYU School of Law and a B.A. in Biomedical Ethics from Brown University.
