Family Resilience Network
Challenge
Working parents and caregivers often struggle to find trustworthy guidance when they are concerned about a child’s mental health, substance use or overall well-being. These challenges do not remain at home: the stress and uncertainty employees experience can affect their focus, attendance and well-being at work. Traditional workplace benefits are typically helpful only once a situation becomes a crisis. There is an opportunity to support working parents by helping them explore the important and unique role they play in the healthy development of their children.
What we did
Partnership to End Addiction created the Family Resilience Network, a workplace benefit that connects employees with confidential, evidence-based guidance and personalized support. Participating employers give their workforce access to expert micro-lessons, practical skill-building resources and one-on-one coaching for parents and caregivers. We also provide employers with implementation support, ready-to-use communications materials and annual reports on employee engagement and utilization.
Outcome
The Family Resilience Network fills an important gap in existing employee benefits by helping families address concerns early, before they become crises. Employees receive trusted, compassionate support that helps them feel better prepared to navigate challenges at home, while employers strengthen workforce well-being through a benefit that is easy to implement and manage. Every employer partnership also helps Partnership to End Addiction continue providing free, confidential support to families nationwide.
